Let a little more light in

Was looking through my photography folder and found this old gem which I hadn't posted!

Thought I'd spread some Love in this Post. I am really quite fed up of all this negativity, and people moaning about how depressing everything is. Mostly in School. Honestly people need to realise what is important in life, and I have been through some pretty dark stages in my life, and I still go through them. I have moved onto venting, which helps but gets me into a lot of trouble, but with this trouble I have a laugh and life keeps on being loud and upbeat! Here are some brilliant quotes to brighten your day:

"Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you."  ~Nathaniel Hawthorne

"There are two things to aim at in life:  first, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it.  Only the wisest of mankind achieve the second" ~Logan Pearsall Smith, Afterthoughts, 1931

"We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have."  ~Frederick Keonig

"A great obstacle to happiness is to expect too much happiness." ~Bernard de Fontenelle

"So long as we can lose any happiness, we possess some."  ~Booth Tarkington

I'm not saying there is a problem telling the world you have a problem, just do it a maximum of two times per problem! Check out Life's little suprises it's a small sweet life update blog, but is so sweet and just happy which most blogs seem to be lacking! - Writ this a while ago, as part of a joint sort of message spreading with SarahBeanBlog (see reading list) Go see sarah's post here.
Ok I couldn't help it my friends are camera shy so here's some more food!
Wagammama's has to be my fave reataurant. What good food + good friends is all about!

Now what's a real friend to you? This definition is almost ever-changing in my head. At first I thought it was someone who could never do you wrong, but I think me myself was wrong about that. To be frank I don't even think that exists. A true friend is someone how laughs with you. Who doesn't bitch about you, who listens to you on a bad day (as long as it's not a bad day every day). Someone who simply gets you and you get them. I think that is all it should be. Friendship should be simple but at a deep level, if that makes sense. I can honestly now clearly see who are and aren't my friends, whilst before the borders may have been slightly hazy.
Friends are amazing, it's just a dangerous thing to do is waste time with 'friends' who aren't in it for a long run. Although not all of my friends are into the same things as me, for some reason things just work and when they do you get a great feeling inside. Went out to wagammama's yesterday with some of my 'real friends' and had such an amazing simple but great night.

Unfortunately I didn't take this, it's a public domain image so free to use!
Today I'm going to do a little city feature. Rio de Janeiro. What a place. A city build on rocks with gorgeous views and beaches, with vibrant people and buildings. A lot of people want to go Miami and Florida, but if you gave me the choice I'd pack my bags and head over to the ridiculously diverse mix of culture in Rio. Sure the crime rates are high in some areas but I'm sure the risk is worth it for uncovering such a beautiful place with your own eyes and ears. I would love to venture over to Brazil and enjoy the summer heat and mix of things in Rio. Not to mention it's home to one of the new 7 wonders of the world!

That's all for now! Please leave your comments below on what you think of all the topics! Don't forget to hit the Pump Aid charity widget on the right------> and get a free Corrine Bailey Rae song when you donate! Thanks so much for reading as usual and hope you guys have a great week! Please share/comment/tweet/love/hype/follow see you soon! ~
